It still costs money to present and organize CE’s so we decided if you want CE credit please register, for members you get the education and the CE for FREE, for non members the CE is $10.00, that’s 75% off the normal price. (Skip a starbucks trip, and you’ve paid for 2 hours of unbiased top quality CE’s) We really can’t make it any easier than that, we love you hard working opticians, paras, and techs so here’s to you!

Biography of Speaker:
Barry E. Santini is a Certified Master Optician by the American Board Of Opticianry. His is also a
credentialed Vision Specialist by the Society to Advance Opticianry (SAO). Barry is President of
Long Island Opticians, a retail optical business located in Seaford, New York. This business was
originally started by his father, Alfred E. Santini, in the 1950s.

Barry is a nationally known optical speaker, writer, blogger and is a contributing editor to 20/20
Magazine. With 50 years experience, Barry is an expert on dispensing, fabrication, optics,
rimless processing, optical business, practice management and is an Image Consultant certified
by the Fashion Institute of Technology, or FIT in New York City. Barry has also completed his
certification as a Seasonal Coloring Consultant.

A NYS licensed ophthalmic optician and certified NYS Contact Lens Fitter, Barry received his
ABOM from the American Board of Opticianry in 1994. In 2012, he received the Lifetime
Achievement Award from the NYS Society of Opticians. In 2016, Barry was awarded & Optician
of the Year from the Society to Advance Opticianry (SAO). Barry is currently on the advisory
board for the ophthalmic dispensing department of New York City College of Technology.
